What delivery options do you offer?

Accessories

Free DK delivery when you spend 1000 DKK or more, 100 DKK shipping fee is added for orders below 1000 DKK. We deliver with Schenker/GLS and will notify you when your parcel is ready to leave our factory in Rydaholm, Sweden.


Beds, Headboards, Mattresses, Tables & Toppers

Beds and larger accessories (such as mattresses, furniture, etc.) are delivered by one of our selected carriers. Below you will find our different delivery options.

Basic Delivery
Once your bed or accessories have arrived at a local terminal, you will be contacted to arrange a delivery date and time to your address. The delivery will be made by one (1) person and the goods will be delivered to the property line. Please note that you must carry the bed(s) and accessories into your home yourself.

Standard Delivery
Once your bed has arrived at a local terminal, you will be contacted to arrange a delivery date and time to your home address. You will then be contacted by the transport company via SMS approximately 30 minutes before the bed arrives (according to the agreed time). Two people will carry the bed(s) to the room you designate.

Silver Delivery
Once your bed has arrived at a local terminal, you will be contacted to arrange a delivery day and time to your home address. You will then be contacted by the transport company via SMS approximately 30 minutes before the bed arrives (according to the agreed time). Two people will carry the bed(s) to the room you designate. The bed(s) will be unpacked and assembled (no wall mounting is included). Packing materials are removed and recycled.

Gold Delivery
Once your bed has arrived at a local terminal, you will be contacted to arrange a delivery date and time to your home address. You will then be contacted by the transport company via SMS approximately 30 minutes before the bed arrives (according to the agreed time). Two people will carry the bed(s) to the room you designate. The bed(s) will be unpacked and assembled (no wall mounting is included). Packing materials are removed and recycled. Your old bed will be removed and sent for recycling (please note that only the bed will be removed, not the bed frame or bedside table, for example).

When can I expect delivery of my online order?

Delivery time on our beds, headboards and bed mattresses with Classic Collection fabrics is 7 - 8 weeks.
Delivery time for our beds, headboards and bed mattresses with Exclusive Collection fabrics is 7 - 8 weeks.
Delivery time for other products is approximately 2 - 10 days, days depending on the product and provided we have the item in stock.

Exchange & Returns (Accessories)

I've changed my mind. Can I return my order?

You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the date your products have been delivered. If you want to return your order, please contact us at customerservice@carpediembeds.com Please note that the products must be sent back to us at the latest within 14 days from when you notify us thereof.

How to return your order
1. Notify us about your return by sending an email to customerservice@carpediembeds.com
2. Make sure the product is unused and have all product labels and tags attached.
3. Pack your product in the original packaging as a postal parcel or letter.
4. Fill in the return note included in your shipment with details of what you are returning.
5. Use the return shipping label that comes with your delivery.
6. Send your package within 14 days from when you notfied us about the return.

You are also welcome to return products to our store. To make a return in store, you need to show a valid receipt or other documentation of the purchase.

The right to cancel a purchase does not apply to items that are specifically made for you, so-called “made-to-order” products. As these goods are custom-made according to your specifications (including with respect to choices of colour and materials), which means that we cannot issue a right of withdrawal for these specific goods.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods with broken seals that cannot be properly returned for health or hygiene reasons. This exception includes, for example, duvets, pillows, towels, mattress covers, bed (top) mattresses, duvet covers, pillowcases, sheets and similar products. If a product of this kind has been sealed, you must not break the seal in order to exercise your right of withdrawal. However, if the seal is unbroken, you have the right to cancel your purchase as described above.

At Carpe Diem Beds, we manufacture handmade beds with accessories that are specifically made for you, so-called “made-to-order” products. As these goods are custom-made according to your specifications (including with respect to choices of colour and materials), which means that we cannot issue a right of withdrawal for these specific goods.

What guarantee comes with your beds?

We give you the possibility to claim for frame and spring breakage up to 25 years after you bought the product, and up to 10 years for motor breakdown when buying our adjustable beds.

How often should I change my top mattress?

We recommend replacing your top mattress very 5-7 years.

What materials are used for your beds?

Quality begins with raw materials and craftsmanship. Our beds are built with top-tier raw materials like slow-growth Nordic pine, Talalay latex, organic cotton, and fabrics from renown textile brands like Kvadrat, Designers Guild and The Romo Group.

Our flagship stores have all our bed models available, but we always recommend contacting the store and dealer to check which models are on display.

Can I purchase a bed directly from the store?

All our beds are made to order. You can place an order for any of our beds in-store.
